Our horticulturalist, Colin found a Wood Owl in the Chapel a couple of days ago, it had flown into the chapel through the front door and attempted  to get out via the front windows and knocked itself out.
 
He took it to the Eagle Encounters Team who rehabilitated the bird and yesterday at 17h10 we set it free down at the chapel.

It was truly an amazing moment that captured for me what this estate is all about and that even our small little efforts to look after our natural world does make a difference.
