The Langbos Squatter Community Creche in Addo was opened in January 2006 and in just a year a vegetable garden has been established and recently it started a soup kitchen for the entire community.

At present there are 4 staff members, 3 are full-time. The little children have come to regard the creche as a safe haven.  Nomthandazo Pipe, one of the 2 teachers has just qualified with a Grade R diploma at the Early Learning Training Centre in Port Elizabeth. 

Once again,a huge thank you to Gorah for your support, especially on behalf of the precious little children.  A few weeks ago at a meeting one of the guys stood up and said “Thank you Thandi, (My Xhosa name) to you and ALL the people who have helped you, because we thought of ourselves as the forgotten people and you have given us hope.”
